Fixtures: Monaghan Electrical IFL: Our game away to Corduff scheduled for last Wednesday 4th May has been deferred to this coming Wednesday 11th May at 7.45pm while we take on Currin this Saturday evening at 7pm in Páirc Grattan. Minor Football League: We host Emyvale in Páirc Grattan on this coming Tuesday evening 10th May in Páirc Grattan at 7.30pm.

Results: Our Minor team came out the wrong side of a very high scoring game in Toome last Tuesday night on a score line of the Clann na Gael amalgamation 4.19 Inis Caoin Grattan’s 3.17.

Countryfest 16: What a super success Countryfest 16 was last weekend with all the different artists performing to their brilliant best. Inis Caoin Grattan’s would like to thank all the performers and also all the people who attended at the various shows. We would also like to especially thank all the volunteers who helped out over the weekend for all their efforts without you the show would not go on there would be no Countryfest. Roll on Countryfest 17.

Lotto: There was no winner of our Pick Four Lotto jackpot of €3,500 for Tuesday 3rd May 2016. Grattan’s Óige by Mickey Kindlon: Juniors, U8s & U10s: Training Saturday 11 -12 U10: Our annual Keeva Kelly cup tournament was held Monday 2nd May. All teams competed very well, the eventual winners was a very good side from Silverbridge with Inniskeen the runners up U12: We played our Spring league final against Aughnamullen last Monday 2nd May, in Cloghan, winning by 3 points at the end. Everyone involved played very well. Training as usual. U14: We played Monaghan harps last Thursday evening. The first half we played against the breeze and went in at half time 1 point down. A big turning point was a sending off for both teams early in the second half. Monaghan harps gained a commanding lead in the next 10 minutes that we were unable to claw back. Final score Monaghan harps 2-10 Inniskeen 1-10. We play a challenge match against Carrickmacross this Wednesday evening 4th May at 7:00 in Páirc Grattan U16: Training as usual this week as there are no matches. We wish the Russell family all the best at this difficult time.
