Seniors:

On Sunday afternoon the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football continues for our Senior panel as the lads take on Corduff at home. The game throws in at 2 o clock in Donaghmoyne on Sunday afternoon. Come out and support the team as they look to get back to winning ways.

Reserves:

Last weekend our Reserves returned to action as they took on neighbours Castleblayney at home in the Reserve Football Championship O’Duffy Cup Quarter Final. Thankfully the lads went about their business in the right way and knocked out a rather weak Blayney outfit. They will now meet Latton in the semi final in a couple of weeks!

U16s:

Our U16 team continued their Divison Two League campaign last Thursday evening when they took on Emyvale away from home. Thankfully the lads had enough in the tank to go on and record the win. They are in action again this Thursday evening when they take on Latto away from home. Throw in is at 7.30 in Latton on Thursday. Come down and support the lads as they look to continue their good run of form of late.

U14s:

Our U14 A team travel to Monaghan Harps this Sunday for a Division One League Fixture. That game throws in at 12 o clock. Make the trip this Sunday to get behind the lads as they look to get back in business in the league.

U12s:

Our U12 A team continued their league campaign last Saturday afternoon when they took on Emyvale away from home. The lads put in a top class performance and thankfully came home with the points! Our B team are in action this Thursday evening when they take on Castleblayney at home. That game throws in at 7.30. And our A team continue this weekend with a fixture at home to Clones. Throw in for that one is 12 o clock on Saturday.

Mini Fontenoys:

Mini Fontenoys training continues this Saturday between 11-12. The cost is €2 per family, gum shield essential. All new faces are as always more than welcome.

Donaghmoyne GFC Dinner Dance Sunday June 5th:

The time has finally come to celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months as the Donaghmoyne GFC Dinner Dance takes place in the Nuremore Hotel Carrickmacross on Sunday the 5th of June. This promises to be a great night with quality food, craic and entertainment Guaranteed! Reception kicks off at 7.30. Our Double Winning Minor and Reserve Teams are the special guests on the night, along with the various different people receiving personal awards on the night. Entertainment will be provided on the night by Paddy Byrne and ‘The Last Word’. Tickets will cost €25. It takes a lot of hard work to gain success and it is important that we as a club come together and celebrate each and every success, from both on and off the field. So don’t miss the chance to do that and here’s how you can get your ticket. Tickets will be on sale for the last time in the clubrooms this Friday the 27th of May between 7 and 8 o clock. Please Spread the Word. We look forward to seeing you all on the night!

Ladies:

Results:

The Senior Reserve team played Truagh in the final of the Division One Spring League on Saturday evening last. Donaghmoyne set out their stall early on and although Truagh battled hard to go on and record a win and capture the clubs 1st piece of silverwear in 2016. Well done to all. The U16s made it two wins from two during the week with a good win over ONeill Shamrocks.

U14s:

The u14 Feile team would like to thank all those who contributed to their breakfast morning on Sunday morning last. The morning was a great success! Well done also to Leah Cunningham and all the Monaghan U14 Development Team on their win over Antrim in the Ulster Final last weekend.

InterPros:

Congratulations to our own Linda Martin, Sharon Courtney and Cora Courtney who helped Ulster to win their 5th Interprovincial title in a row at the weekend.

Gaelic for Mothers + Others:

Training continues every Friday evening in the field. All new players are more than welcome.

Well done to St. Louis Secondary School Carrickmacross on their Ulster Final win last week especially to all the Donaghmoyne girls involved.
