Youth2Work is a highly innovative and dynamic initiative through which the GAA, in partnership with Microsoft and Fit and with the support of CMETB, want to help drive local awareness of the emerging job opportunities in tech and related sectors in the greater Monaghan region. Youth2Work seeks to ensure that new job opportunities are accessible to young people locally through appropriate training opportunities, career advice and placement supports. The ultimate goal of Youth2Work is to enable young people get a quality job-ideally within their locality. With an investment of €3m, Microsoft, in collaboration with the GAA and fit, wish to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to youth employment thereby bringing prosperity, optimism and confidence to local communities.
See below correspondence with regards to Youth2work programme. Please can you forward this to all young personnel whom you think are suitable who are completing their Leaving Certificate Examinations this year also to those who have completed their college exams and are looking for work locally.
The Youth2work programme will also assist those who are interested in apprenticeships. There are two information evening which will take place on Monday 25th April in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan and another which will take place on Monday 9th May which will take place in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross. Both will commence at 7pm
