Inniskeen Camogie Notes by Mairead Monahan: Louth League: The Inniskeen Camogs got their season underway last Friday evening week in Grattan Park when they hosted St Kevins Philipstown in the first round of the Louth League. Going into the match with a number of regulars missing the home side battled hard against the young mid Louth side. Despite enjoying a favourable amount of possession Inniskeen just couldn’t convert onto the score board and it was the Philipstown girls who were more accurate and decisive on the night to run out worthy winners.
The next match see the girls travel to the Louth peninsula for the second round tie Cooley. Date and time TBC.
