Seniors:

Last Saturday evening the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football continued for our Senior panel as the lads took on Currin away from home. This was a very tight game with very little between the 2 teams. Thankfully at full time however Donaghmoyne were clear by 8 points and the lads made it 4 wins from as many games. The league continues next week as the lads travel to Killany to take on the hosts. Throw in for that one is at 7.30 . Make the trip on Wednesday evening to support the team as they look to continue their good start to the year.

Reserves:

On Wednesday evening last our Reserve side continued their Platinum Tanks RFL campaign as they took on Aughnamullen away from home. This was a very tight encounter with both sides making the most of the dry conditions on the night. Thankfully after running in a number of goals the lads came away with the two points to go top of the Division 1B League. The next outing for our Reserve team is a big one as the lads take on Scotstown at home in the O Duffy Cup, Reserve Division 1 Championship. Throw in is at 7 o clock in Donaghmoyne on Saturday evening. Come down and support our Reserves as they look to advance to the Championship Semi Final.

Minors:

On Tuesday evening of last week our Minors made the trip to Oliver Plunkett Park to take on Emyvale. This was a tough encounter from start to finish but thankfully the lads had enough in the tank to take home the points. Tuesday evening of this week the lads welcomed Patrick Emmetts to Donaghmoyne for a 7 o clock throw in. This Friday evening the 29th of April the lads make the short trip to Emmett Park to take on their hosts Carrickmacross with throw in at 7 o clock and Next Tuesday the lads make the trip to Killany for a 7.30 throw in. Get out on Friday and Tuesday evening and support our Minors as they look

to continue a good start to the season.

U16s:

Our U16 team continued their Divison Two League campaign last Thursday evening when they took on Cremartin at home. Thankfully the lads put in a great display and took away the points.

U14s:

Last Saturday was an important day for our U14 team as they took on Latton in the Division 1 Championship Final. The game was played in excellent conditions in Blackhill with a great Fontenoys following turning out to support the team. Donaghmoyne got off to a great start knocking in goals early on and this set the tempo for what was to come. The lads gave an excellent all round display of attacking football, tight defending and hard work all across the park and this was proven with a full time score of 6-6 to 0-3 to the Fontenoys. This is the first time the club has won the U14 Division 1 Championship and is a fitting testament to this dedicated and talented group of players. The team will now go on to represent Monaghan in the Feile competition taking place in Cork, Kerry and Limerick this Summer. Congratulations to all the players and management and hopefully this will be the start of great things to come for this team.

Mini Fontenoys:

Mini Fontenoys training continues this Saturday between 11-12. The cost is €2 per family, gum shield essential. All new faces are as always more than welcome.
