Seniors:
Last Sunday afternoon the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football continued for our Senior panel as the lads took on Cremartin at home. This was a very tight game with very little between the 2 teams. Thankfully at full time however Donaghmoyne were clear by 4 points and the lads made it 3 wins from as many games. The league continues this weekend as the lads travel to Scotshouse to take on Currin away from home. Throw in for that one is at 7 o clock. Make the trip on Saturday evening to support the team as they look to continue their good start to the year.
Reserves:
On Wednesday evening of this week our Reserve side continued their Platinum Tanks RFL campaign as they took on Aughnamullen away from home. See next weeks notes for the result.
Minors:
On Tuesday evening of this week our Minors made the trip to Oliver Plunkett Park to take on Emyvale. See next weeks notes for the result. Next Tuesday evening the lads welcome Patrick Emmetts to Donaghmoyne for a 7 o clock throw in. Get out next Tuesday evening and support our Minors as they look to continue a good start to the season.
U16s:
Our U16 team continued their Divison Two League campaign last Thursday evening when they took on Sean Mc Dermotts away from home. This was a tough encounter throughout with both sides working very hard to claim the spoils. Thankfully after holding a narrow lead at half time Donaghmoyne pushed on in the 2nd half to take home the 2 points.
U14s:
Our U14s continued their season last Saturday afternoon as they took on Emyvale at home in the Division One Championship Semi Final. This was an important game for our lads as they were looking to qualify for the final and they didn’t disappoint as they produced an excellent display to qualify for the final. Theres no rest however as the final takes place this weekend in Blackhill. Throw in is at 1.30 in Blackhill on Saturday. Make the short trip to support the lads this Saturday as they look to take home the Division 1 Championship Title.
Mini Fontenoys:
Mini Fontenoys training continues this Saturday between 11-12. The cost is €2 per family, gum shield essential. All new faces are as always more than welcome.
Speedy Recovery:
The club would like to wish our Senior player Mikey Murnaghan a speedy recovery from the nasty injury he picked up in the All Ireland U21 Semi Final at the weekend. Commiserations to him also on the loss and we hope to see him back on the field asap.

Ladies
Results:
The A and C teams had good wins at the weekend. The A team overcoming Truagh while the C team were beat Tyholland. The B team play O Neills in Donaghmoyne on Friday evening. Well done to the U14s who beat Truagh on Monday evening also.
Affiliation:
It’s that time of year again when affiliation is due for all players with the cost being €60 for adults and €40 for U18s.
Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others:
It is due to start in Donaghmoyne in the next few weeks. Initially it will run for 1 hour a week for 6 weeks to see if there is sufficient interest. Training is open to everyone and no experience of playing is required. It is purely for fun so if you’re interested keep an eye out for information on when the first session takes place.
County Teams:
Well done to the county u16 and minor teams who beat Down and Donegal over the weekend.
