Tomorrow Saturday the 19th of March will see the start of the the Minor and U17s Ulster Football Leagues. Both teams will take part in Group A which contains Down, Cavan and Armagh. The u17’s is a new departure in this format this year and will generally play after the Minors at the same venue.
Tomorrow both games take place in Inniskeen with Down the opposition. The Minors throw in at 12 noon while the U17s game will have a 1.30pm start.

With 24 clubs represented on the panel we urge the whole county to get behind the team. The management team of Garrett Coyle, Séamus Mullholland and Martin Corey have been happy with the preparations so far and are looking forward to the league commencing after the last few months of training and challenge matches.
The u17s will also play Down with a 1.30pm throw in time. This team is managed by former County Chairperson Paul Curran ably assisted by Mark Duffy of Scotstown, Conor Fadian, Clontibret and Pádraig Treanor of Truagh. They will be fielding an understrength team tomorrow as some players at this age are already involved with the minor panel and a further 10 are still involved in school’s competition either with the Mac Larnon or the Rannafast Squad for the Patrician High School.
