CLontibret Notes

Clontibret 3-10 Magheracloone 1-9. Our senior team got the year off to a good start with a win over Magheracloone on Sunday. Next up is an away match against Ballybay on Saturday, 9th April at 7pm. Following that we take on Doohamlet at home on Wednesday, 13th April at 7.15pm.

Platinum Tanks Reserve League

We’re away to Magheracloone on Saturday at 5pm. Following that we’re away to Scotstown on Saturday, 2nd April at 6.30pm.

Under 16

Our opening game of the year is away to Cremartin on Thursday, 31st March at 6.30pm.

Under 14

Have a home game against Drumhowan on Saturday at 2pm to get their year underway.

Under 12

We had a good victory against Emyvale in our first outing on Saturday. Well done boys. Next up is an away game to Scotstown on Tuesday 29th march in Zone D at 6.15pm followed by home games against Killanny and Carrick on Saturday, 2nd April.

U10

Training as usual on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm at the field.

U8

Great to see all on our first run out last week. Please note training will now be Saturday morning at 10am at the field and this will be the fixed time from now on.

Membership 2016

Membership for 2016 is now due for renewal and must be paid before the end of March to be a full member for the coming season. Individuals who made a full contribution to Clontibret Our Future Fund during 2015 are covered for membership for 2016. All others (including players who must pay their membership fee to be covered by the injury fund) should pay their €20 fee to Club Registrar Margaret Walsh immediately or any member of the club executive.

Fun Run

Just another reminder on our upcoming Fun Run at 3pm on the 2nd of April. Hope you’re all training hard and feeling fit in preparation for the big day. If you haven’t already got a sponsorship form please approach your coach. There is a lot of interest again in the community for what has now become a great annual local event so get those last few training sessions in and see if you can beat your time of previous years!

To Nuala Green and family on death of Tom Green.Tom was a strong supporter of our club and worked as grounds man for many years. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
