Junior B’s
Next Saturday the 12th of March sees the return of the Junior B League as we welcome local neighbour’s Killevan to the Peace Link. The game is at 7.30 and will be played under lights. Hopefully the B’s can make a positive start to their year.
Hard Luck
To the Monaghan team who had another narrow loss to Mayo on Sunday last in Clones. All is not lost in defeat however as the team are showing signs of another great year to come. Fintan and the lads are operating at an extremely high level with the pace of the last two games more comparable to Championship football than League. Next week the lads travel to Cork to take on the Rebels. Best of Luck to the lads.
Condolences
The club wishes to offer its condolences to the Reilly Family on the passing of Vincent Reilly on Sunday the 28th of February. Vincent was a stallworth of the club for many years and a tough corner back who was known for his relentless tackling.
The club also wishes to offer its condolences to the Tighe family on the passing of Betty Tighe on Monday last. The Tighe family have a great tradition within our club which continues to this day with Betty’s grandchildren playing for the club.
