It has been a bumper sports year for the students of Castleblayney College and the jubilation continued this week when the senior Girls Gaelic football team won the Ulster Schools Championship beating the Loreto Secondary, Cavan in the final. it was a close fought match right to the end but the ‘Blayney girls managed to steal victory by two points. it was an impressive all-round team performance with 6th Year student Caitlin Mc Quillan deservedly winning the trophy for Person of the Match.
