Tyholland Notes

SLotto: Results for w/e 6th January 2016: Jackpot €2,100. No winner. Numbers Drawn: 2,4,18,28. Lucky dip winners; Gareth McQuaid, Gerry Reilly, Paddy Hughes, Paul Treanor. The jackpot next week is €2,200. Tickets are available at €2 each or 3 for €5. The draw will take place on Saturday night in the club.

Minors: We still need a Minor Manager. There are only only a few weeks left until the new season and if we don’t get a coach soon we will not be able to enter the Minor competition. Please contact Paddy on 087 2231310 for more information.

Registration: Registration is now overdue so if you have not already done so please contact Michelle Treanor on 086 8907240. A parent must register with ANY player under 18 at any level.

Juveniles: Our U10/U8 lads and lassies are training on Saturdays at 2.30-3.30 on the field (weather permitting). Remember to bring your gum shield or you will not be allowed to play at training and you must be registered! Keep an eye on Whatsapp group for further information. Will all parents please ensure that they read the Code of Conduct form with their child and sign it. It is available from coaches at training.

U12: Gareth McKenna and Adrian Sheridan will be coaching the U12s this year and training is due to commence on the field next Wednesday at 6.30. Players must be registered to train and don’t forget your gumshield.

U14: The U14s continue their training in the hall on Thursdays 6-7.30 and Saturdays 5.00 – 6.30. Glen Treanor, Dermey Coyle and Gareth McKenna are looking after this group.

Ladies: We have decided to enter a girls U12 team and are looking for a manager for them. If interested please contact Fiona Boyd on 087 7116380.

Whattsapp: There is a Whattsapp group set up for every team from Juveniles up to Seniors. If you are not receiving messages please contact manager of your team to make sure that you are included.

Condolences: The club would like to express our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Maggie Rice and Vera Gormley who both passed away during the week. We would also like to sympathise with Paul McCormick and family on the passing of Paddy Leer. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Community Centre: If you would like to borrow any item from the centre you must contact Margaret McCooey first on 85250.

Cultural Night: To commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising, the club have decided to organise an Irish Culture Night. We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians and storytellers of all ages

from our parish and the surrounding areas. If you are interested in getting involved please contact Orla Donnelly on 086 6053561.

Drama Group: Only one weekend left until the highly anticipated play by Tyholland Drama group “When the Cats Away” takes place. It is an hilarious original comedy play full of twists don’t miss out get your tickets now! Play takes place Sat 20th and Sunday 21st February, tickets are only €10 and will cover either night and are available now from the club bar or any committee / cast member.
