Volunteers Required
We are once again about to embark on a new season of juvenile training and games and as usual we have the perennial problem of help with all underage teams. This year we are hoping to recruit the services of parents for the lower ages, i.e. U6-U10. We are not asking for parents to become coaches but merely stay for the hour of training and help the existing coaches to organise the children and assist in setting up and running activities. This could be done on a rota basis and therefore not committing any parent to assisting every week. The juvenile committee feel that it would greatly benefit the childrens development within the sport. Coaches give up their time every week voluntarily to help children be involved and enjoy the physical activity of gaelic football. Anyone wishing to assist any of the teams or wishing to become a coach please contact the Juvenile Chariperson , Gary Larkin or any of the teams mentors.
