SLotto: We have a winner!! Rita McCaul from Emyvale scooped the slotto jackpot of €6900 with the winning numbers 2,6,12,14. Congratulations Rita! Our lucky dip winners were Paula & Jude McMahon, Seamus Tate, Maura Thornton and Brendan McQuillan. Tickets are available at €2 each or 3 for €5. The draw takes place on Saturday nights in the club.
Registration: Our club registrar Michelle Treanor is continuing to take registrations and can be contacted on 086 8907240. The fees are as follows; Senior Players €30, Adults €20, U18 €10 (one parent must affiliate with first child) and Family membership is €50. Remember registration must be paid in order for a player to train or play at ANY level. There will be no exception to this.
Juvenilles: There is a further juvenile meeting tonight Thursday at 9pm. We are appealing to people to come forward to help out in the coaching of our underage players. There may be some age groups which we will be unable to enter due to a shortage of coaches so anyone that can help please attend this meeting.
Ladies: Our enthusiastic Senior/Minor Ladies are continuing their training. With the U14/16 due to start soon too we are also hoping to have a U12 team so any girls born 2004/5/6 can contact Siobhan on 086 3470108 or Fiona on 087 7116380 if interested.
Comhgairdeas: Well done to Lauren McCaffrey who has been selected to the County Minor Ladies panel for 2016. Congrats also to X Coyle on receiving his award for Intermediate Referee at the Monaghan GAA Annual Awards night.
Plaque: This is the final call for anyone who would like their name to be added to the Plaque. We can accept no further names after 31st January so please contact Kevin Kavanagh on 087 7978634 if you are interested. The cost is €100.

Sympathy: The club would like to express our sympathy to the family and friends of Macartan Murphy, Aghabog he was a former Tyholland player and played on the 1961 team and also to Sean Treanor and family on the recent passing of his brother in law Gerry Cahill. We would also like to express our sympathy to Jackie and Declan McKenna and family on the death of her father Patsy McDonald. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha dilís.
Drama Group: I’m sure you are all looking forward to seeing the new hilarious comedy play by Tyholland Drama group, “When the Cats Away”. Tickets are out now and if last year is
anything to go by they will sell fast so don’t be disappointed and get yours now. They are priced at only €10 and are available from any of the cast, committee or in the bar. So keep free 20th or 21st February for two great nights of entertainment with proceeds going to local groups and charities!
