Athbhliain faoi mhaise dhaoibh go léir and every good wish for 2016!
The year has certainly got off to a lovely start with Shauna (Finnegan) and Mark announcing their engagement – congratulations and every good wish to you both! Congratulations is long overdue to Aideen Greene and Aisling Greenan who were elected County Children’s Officer and delegate to Ulster Council at the Monaghan Board Convention in November. With our Club AGM soon to be held, the girls are setting the standard for all other senior members!
Our Annual Christmas Draw was a huge success – thanks in no small part to the generosity of so many sponsors, the generosity of those who sold and bought lines and the hard work of a small number of our senior members – especially Aisling, Aideen and Nicola – who went selling door-to-door in very inclement weather. The social night in the Club rooms on Dec 18 was hugely enjoyable and well attended. Thanks to all who contributed to its success.
