National League Last Man Standing
The club is launching a new Last Man Standing competition for the National League. The idea is that you must correctly pick the winner of a game each week to progress to the following week. Once you have picked a team you are not able to pick them again for the duration of the competition. Entry is €10 and there will be great prizes on offer. You can enter either via the clubs new fundraising page on www.klubfunder.ie or you can give your money to any executive member along with your email address to enter.
Clones GFC present Mr and Mrs
The club will be holding a fundraising night on Saturday the 20th of February in the Creighton Hotel at 8pm. We are looking for 5/6 couples to play the hit game show. If you are interested please let any member of the executive know. Player of the year awards will also be presented on the night. Tickets will cost €20 and all tickets will be entered into a draw for €300. There will be a raffle on the night also. A great night is promised so we will be hoping that everyone flocks to the Creighton on the 20th to support.
Congratulations
To Paula Cunningham on her new role as manager of the Monaghan Ladies. It is great to see so many Clones people involved with county teams of late. Paula will bring a wealth of experience to the role and will no doubt be very successful.
Best of Luck
To the Monaghan team as they embark on another season in Division 1 of the National Football League. Their first outing is against Roscommon in Kiltoom next Sunday at 2pm. We are all hoping it will be another great season for Fintan and the boys starting this weekend. Muineachain Abú
