St. Louis sixth year student, Eva Woods was presented with her Ulster Schools All-Star Award on Friday night last at Kelly’s Inn, Ballygawley. This is a very prestigious award in which the best 25 ladies’ footballers in Ulster are chosen following a series of trials. There are over 3000 players competing in the schools’ competition and this is a fantastic achievement for the Corduff native who has been knocking on the door for an Ulster All-Star for the last number of years.
Eva who has captained the school senior and u16 teams has enjoyed Ulster success at schools’ level in all age groups. The staff and students wish to congratulate Eva and her family for their dedication and commitment to school sporting life. Eva continues the proud tradition of having Louis girls selected on the Ulster All-star teams joining Laura McEnaney, Ciara McDermott, Barbara Ward, Holly Lynch and Lauren Jones. Eva will now represent Ulster in the All –Ireland Interprovincial series this weekend in Kinnegad.
