The jackpot will start again at €1,000 with the draw held every Tuesday evening at the weekly bingo. If your not in you can’t win.

New Years Day Swim: The annual New Year ’s Day swim will take place at Lough Major at 12pm this New Year’s day. Fund raising cards have been disputed to a number of local businesses and to each of the families within the club, giving you plenty of opportunities to support this event. All support will be greatly appreciated. This has been a great event in the past & we could encourage as many people to take part as possible. There’s nothing like starting the New Year with an ice cold dip in the Ballybay water ways.

Ballybay Pearse Brother 12 pubs of Xmas will take place on Saturday the 19th of December beginning in Mena Pub at 7pm sharp. Everyone is more than welcome, the more the merrier, as the Pearse Brothers try to create a Christmas atmosphere around the town. See you all on the night.

This is a major fundraiser for the club and we’d encourage as many as possible to buy a ticket to the support the club and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

If there’s any member of the public, particularly elderly ladies & gentlemen, who would like to attend the night but struggle for transportation there is a free bus run within the local area to bring people to & from the club rooms. If you like to avail of this service please contact any committee member.

The event will kick off at 12noon with four teams been chosen beforehand. It’s a minimum €10 per head for the worthy charity and anyone who is interested in playing or helping on the day should make them known to Barry Lennon before the day. All support would be greatly welcomed on the day.
