All-Ireland Ladies Club SFC Final
Donaghmoyne v Mourneabbey, Sunday, 2.45, Parnell Park
Donaghmoyne ladies bid to win a fourth All-Ireland Club SFC Final when they take on Mourneabbey in Sunday’s final.
Having continued their dominance of the Monaghan championship, Donaghmoyne regained the Ulster title by avenging last year’s final defeat against Donegal side Termon and they saw off Foxrock-Cabinteely to qualify for a sixth All-Ireland final. Former All-Ireland junior and senior champions Mourneabbey lost to Termon in the senior decider last year
Donaghmoyne, who had Cora Courtney and Linda Martin named in the national All-Star team last month, will also be looking for big performances from Sharon Courtney, Cathriona McConnell, Eileen McElroy and Amanda Casey. Mourneabbey can call on some of the all-conquering Cork ladies, with Doireann, Ciara and Róisín O’Sullivan key players.
