AGM: The clubs annual general meeting will take place on Sunday the 29th of November in the club room at 6pm. We ask that all members make an extra effort to be available for the meeting to ensure that they have their say in the running of the club. Club Officer Nomination forms have been issued so we ask that you return them to either John Connolly or Niall Duffy before the 29th.

Child Protection Course: Monaghan GAA are running two child protection course in November. One on Wed 18th November from 7-10pm in Cloghan. The second is on 25th November from 7-10pm. Please note that in 2016 no manager, coach or first aider will be allowed to be involved in any team where there are children under 18 years of age participating in less they have completed their child protection course and have also completed their Garda vetting. Anyone who did their child protection more than four years ago should also have their child protection renewed. Garda vetting forms are available on Monaghan GAA website. If you wish to help out at juvenile level in any way this course must be completed by all. Cost €10 per person. If interested please forward your name to Niall Duffy ASAP.

Website: The club are currently working on developing a website to celebrate its colourful past & bright future while using it as an additional means of communication for Pearse Brothers both living in the area and those spread out over all corners of the world. Monster Bingo: The clubs annual Monster Bingo takes place on the 6th of December in the Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan. More info will come in the next number of weeks but the club would like to have as many club member, bingo players & non bingo players more than welcome on the day. Our standard weekly bingo will continue every Tuesday night in the club rooms. If there’s any member of the public, particularly elderly ladies & gentlemen, who would like to attend the night but struggle for transportation there is a free bus run within the local area to bring people to & from the club rooms. If you like to avail of this service please contact any committee member.

Committee Meeting: The last committee meeting before this year’s AGM will take place on Sunday the 22nd of November at 5pm in the club rooms. Please make a special effort to attend.
