Babtha Leath Cheannais Scór na nÓg Uladh 2015 in Killeavy Co. Armagh
The first semi-final of the Ulster Scór na nÓg competition was held in a packed Killeavey GAA Clubhouse on Saturday evening with competitors from Monaghan, Cavan, Antrim, Fermanagh and Armagh taking part.
The standard was very high in all seven competitions with Drumhowan – qualifying for the Ulster Final in two of the competitions – Rince Seit and Ceol Uirlise. Also through to represent Monaghan in the Ulster Final are Catriona Sherlock from An Bhoth and The Gaeil Triúcha ballad singers. Congratulations to all and best wishes in the Ulster Final in Silverbridge on Saturday 12th December. Commiserations to the other Monaghan competitors, Drumhowan Rince Foirne group, Danny Tracey in Recitation and the young actors from Gaeil Triúcha in the Léiriú competition who were unsuccessful on the night but performed to a very high standard.
