The Club AGM will take place on Friday 6th November, 2015 at 7.30pm in the Community Centre. Notification has been forwarded by email, anyone wishing to receive hard copies is asked to contact Irene on 086-8243173
Please note that motions and nominations must be received by the Secretary no later than 9pm Friday 30th October 2015.
Nominees must be proposed and seconded by full “paid up” members of Toome GAA.
Please note in the interest of cost saving, all Club Officer Reports and financial statements will be issued for your consideration at the AGM.
A Spooktacular family event in aid of childrens cancer charity Hand in Hand!:
5k Run/Walk
2k Family Fancy Dress Walk and family fun day.
Registration: 10.00am. Race starts at 12.00pm sharp
€10 entry fee for 5k.
€5 for single entry for 2k fancy dress walk or €10 for a family.
Parents wishing to do the 5k run can leave their children in Toome community Centre under experienced supervision.
Fancy Dress Disco, Face Painting, Halloween Games, Bouncy Castle and lots of entertainment.

Please help raise much needed funds for children’s cancer charity HandinHand. A charity who are helping hundreds of family across Ireland who are battling childhood cancer on a daily basis. There will a fun day in Toome community centre also from 11.00am-15.00pm. Face painting, fancy dress disco, Halloween games, bouncy castle and a live performance from all Ireland stage school winners Born 2 perform. A day not to be missed. Refreshments on the day!
We want your scrap!: For the next couple of weeks, there will be a skip in Toome GFC for scrap metal. If there’s something you’ve been meaning to get rid of, but haven’t gotten around to it, we’ll come and collect it from you. We want: Old Cars, Old Farm Machinery, Car and Tractor Batteries, Old Engines, Copper Cylinders, Car Radiators etc. Contact Raymond Byrne on 086-3824143 or Enda Quinn 086-1298360.
Monaghan Coaching Conference – This takes place on Saturday November 7th in Our Ladys Secondary School Castleblayney commencing at 9am. See the Monaghan GAA Website for more details. Club Draw Tickets: The GAA National Club Draw is now an annual event following its success over the past two years, in which over €4.5 million has been raised by clubs. The sole purpose of the GAA National Club Draw is to assist clubs in their drive to raise much needed funds to aid in the development and the promotion of our games.
- This is an opportunity for clubs to raise up to €20,000.
- Each club retains all the proceeds from the tickets sold by their club.
- All prizes are provided by Ard Chomhairle.
Tickets remain at €10 each – The club would greatly appreciate if anyone wishes to get involved in selling tickets – contact Irene or Ciaran if you are interested.
