Greenfield Foods Senior Football Championship Final
Scotstown 2-12 Monaghan Harps 0-9 18/10/15
Scotstown won their second SFC title in three years when they saw off Monaghan Harps in Sunday’s final at Clones. First-quarter goals by Orin Heaphey and Man of the Match Conor McCarthy put Scotstown in the driving seat and although the Harps created goal chances either side of half-time, they couldn’t get the scores they needed to get back into it. Darren and Kieran Hughes were also influential, among seven Scotstown scorers, as they reclaimed the Mick Duffy Cup and set up an Ulster Club quarter-final against holders Slaughtneil.
