Sean Mc Dermotts Notes

September 6th, 2015

Seniors

Our senior team suffered a home defeat against Rockcorry on Sunday last. A very competitive game throughout, but the home side struggled to get on top. Once Rockcorry got their noses in front it was always going to be tough to win.

5K Fun Run / Walk

Our annual fun run / walk took place on Saturday last and it was a magnificent success. The amount of old and new faces was great to see and it provided a wonderful fun family atmosphere. James Clarke was the first competitor home in a magnificent time of 17 minutes 35 seconds. The BBQ was very popular with all the competitors and the poor chefs were flat out cooking burgers and sausages. Well done to all concerned and a big thank you to all the volunteers that helped to steward  and to Brendan McMahon for his generosity in sponsoring the BBQ food.

Fr. Adrian Walsh will fill the vacant position and we wish him all the best for the future in the parish.
