Seniors v Currin: We hosted Currin in the intermdiate league on Sunday afternoon. Currin started brightly and took a 3 point lead within the first 10 minutes. Barry Mc Ginn got our first score of the day in the 11th minute, Currin replied with a point and they struck for goal to leave it 1-4 to 0-1 with 18 minutes gone, in the 20th minute Darren Connolly hit the back of the net, two further pointed frees by Barry Mc Ginn left 2 points in it with 3 minutes to half time, Currin registered the last score of the half to leave the scoreline at half time Doohamlet 1-3, Currin 1-7. The second half Doohamlet were a different team, two early points by Barry Mc Ginn and Kevin Mc Ardle and Johnny Duffy got our second goal of the day to leave us a point up with 6 minutes gone in the second half, Barry Mc Ginn and Damien Ward got further points to give us a slender advantage, Currin responded with 3 unanswered points to leave them a point up with time almost up but a goal by Darren Connolly at the death meant both teams would have to take a share of the points. It finished Doohamlet 2-9 Currin 1-12. U14s had a heartbreaking defeat on Saturday in the league final.

The Annual Lorcan Duffy Memorial Golf Challenge/Classic takes place once again this year in Mannan Castle Golf Club this Saturday the 19th of September. Team of 4 is €150.
