Under 12’s: A great turn out of supporters turned up on Saturday last in Blackhill  to watch our young but  very talented U12 team play a stormer of a game against Rockcorry in the league final. Our backs showed a strong performance keeping the Rockcorry forwards out while the strong mid-field and mighty forwards showed a great display of taking their scores. From the first throw in of the ball, Aughnamullen boys showed immense determination even though Rockcorry had the opening score, Aughnamullen punished them with a goal from Ben Mc Cabe.  Quickly followed by 2 more goals coming from Oisin Treanor and another from Ben Mc Cabe. These goal scores were passed in by the very talented Barry Duffy & Thomas Hamill used their ability to forward the ball into Conor Boyle who scored a fabulous goal. Conall Savage also excelled on the  field by passing great ball up to the forward line. Rockcorry then tried very hard to get back into the game but with an excellent performance from Dylan Mc Mahon, Kevin Mc Cahey, David Sheridan, Simon Geoghegan and Ryan Hamilton in the back line, they showed an excellent defensive display.

Team & Scores: Dylan Mc Mahon. David Sheridan.(1-0)Simon Geoghegan. Ryan Hamilton. Kevin Mc Cahey. Oisin Treanor.(1-2) Thomas Hamill.(0-2) Barry Duffy. Conall Savage. Conor Boyle.(2-0) Ben Mc Cabe.(4-2). Killian Carragher.(1-0) Christopher Geoghegan. Jack Markey. Joshua Bannigan. Mark Mc Phillips.(0-1) Owen Hamill. Luke Johnson. Oran Mc Ardle. Ryan Mc Eneaney. Killian Treanor. Patrick Markey. Aaron Forde. Andrew Forde.

It was a fabulous display of football from every player and all children got the opportunity to shine on the field.

A massive congratulations goes out to the management team of  P.J. Forde. David Lynch & Arthur Hamill for all their time and dedication they give to this great group of boys. Well done to all involved.
