Mc Elvaney’s Waste and Recycling IFC- Last Saturday evening 15th August the seniors took on the southern town of Carrick. Things started well with a Kieran Mooney point  However Carrick soon scored with their first goal of the night. Despite getting quite a lot of ball at midfield Drumhowan were unable to stop the quick Carrick forwards  from getting a further two goals with just a little over 20 minutes gone on the clock. Drumhowan rallied before half time  with further points from Mark Mc Cabe  and David Millar to leave the half time score Drumhowan 0 – 7 Carrick 3 – 4.  Drumhowan started the 2nd half brightly with 2 further points before the killer blow came 6 minutes in with Aaron Jones scoring his hat trick. Point were exchanged until Carrick scored their 5th goal 8 minutes from the end  and their 6th 3 minutes later. Carrick scored further points until David Millar scored his 5th point to finish the game. The full time score finished Drumhowan 0-11  Carrickmacross 6-15. However there was still only 4 points in it at half time with the score at 1 -2 to 1-6.
