Reserves:
Last Sunday afternoon our Reserve side travelled to Sean Mc Dermotts to take on their hosts in the Reserve Football League Division 2A League Semi Final. This was a very tough, close encounter played in terrible conditions. At full time the difference between the teams was the minimum and thankfully Donaghmoyne came out on the right side of the result and qualified for the final. Dates, Times and Venue for the final are yet to be fixed so see Monaghan GAA fixture list for the official fixture.
Minors:
Our Minors season continued last week as the lads were in Championshi[ action when they took on Sean Mc Dermotts away from home. This was a very tough encounter against a strong Seans team, who had the better of the exchanges for a lot of the game. However after a frantic finish the game ended in a draw and a replay was to take place. The replay was played Tuesday evening, see next weeks notes for the result.

The u16 panel return to action this Thursday evening as they take on St. Pats away from home in the Division One Shield competition. Throw in is at 7.30 in Ballybay on Thursday evening. Make the trip to Ballybay on Thursday evening to get behind the team.

U14s:
The U14 Donaghmoyne Girls travelled to Emyvale on Saturday 25th of July to take part in the10th Anniversary of the Gloria Corrigan Tournament.A total of 22 teams took part in this years tournament. The Girls played three and won three games to qualify for the Semi finals of the cup .A draw was made then with 5 teams fighting for a place in the final .Donaghmoyne were unlucky to have to play 2 games to get a well deserved place in the final. They qaulified for the final with O Neills providing the opposition in a nail biting final in which Donaghmoyne came out on top which meant they had won the Gloria Corrigan Cup for the second year in a row.Well done to the girls on an excellent day of football. Thanks to the parents who came to support the girls ,the managers for all their efforts in training the girls,And last but not least to Emyvale Ladies for a well organised tournament.A great days football was had by all.
