Reserve League Semi- Final
Our efforts to reach the Reserve league final were dashed last Sunday in Threemilehouse. Donaghmoyne proved to be our undoing on what was a horrible wet and windy afternoon. Sean’s couldn’t have got a better start with a goal from Shane Larkin in the first minute. Although scores were scarce on both sides , the home team finished the half four points to the good. The second half started in monsoon conditions , with driving rain and wind. The Sean’s conceded an unfortunate goal which gave Donaghmoyne the upper hand. Try as they might, the home side could not get the equaliser to give them another bite at the cherry. The visitors took victory by a single point and the potential for silverware slipped away. Well done to the team and management for their commitment and determination during the all the games.
