U-21: Our Under-21s had a comfortable win at home to Killeevan in the preliminary round of the Division One knock-out competition last Thursday. Points by Éimhín Morahan and Francis Lynch, either side of a Fearghal McMahon goal, got our lads off to a good start, but Killeevan fought back to draw level, although Fearghal, Éimhín and Kevin Loughran added points for the Harps. It took late goals by Conor Forde and Éimhín to put daylight between the teams at half-time (3-6 to 1-3), but our lads took over after the restart, with Éimhín adding 1-2 to his tally and Fearghal, Francie and Niall Treanor also on target. Late goals by Fearghal and Dylan McKenna made the final score 6-14 to 1-5, but tougher tests await.

U-16: Our Under-16 footballers fell to a 2-13 to 1-10 defeat against St. Patrick’s in Ballybay last Thursday. The lads have a championship quarter-final away to Scotstown this Thursday. Good luck to all involved.
U-14: The Under-14 FL Division One resumed with a good win away to Scotstown last Saturday. We conceded an early goal, but points by Luke Coyle (three) and Anann Connor brought us back into the game, before Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh and Anann edged us ahead. Scotstown replied with another goal, but excellent points by Conor Devlin and Lorcan O’Rourke made it level at half-time: 0-8 to 2-2. Our lads made a great start to the second half, with 1-1 by Luke and points from Lorcan, Anann, Conor and Terence McDonald. Further scores by Conor, Dylan Ballantine, Terence and Luke stretched our lead and although Scotstown hit a late goal, another point by Conor rounded off a 1-18 to 3-6 win for the Harps.
Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin; Andrew Lyden, Liam Conway; Killian Conlon, Lochlainn Power, Tiarnán O’Rourke; Annan Connor (0-3, 2 ‘45s), Conor Devlin (Capt., 0-4); Lorcan O’Rourke (0-2), Dylan Ballantine (0-1), Luke Coyle (1-5, 0-3f); Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh (0-1), Stephen Ward.
