Reserves:

Last Saturday evening was a big one for the Reserve squad as they took on neighbours Carrickmacross in the Reserve Championship Crawley Cup Final. All roads led to Blackhill  on Saturday evening. Carrick had the better of the opening exchanges on a damp evening which saw them go in at half time with a narrow two point lead. After the restart a more determined Donaghmoyne got a foothold in the game and the introduction of a couple of substitutes fairly swung the balance in their favour. Thankfully after a few late scores Donaghmoyne went on to record a six point win and they were crowned Reserve Championship Crawley Cup Winners for the second year in a row. Congratulations to all the players and managment on the win and for securing the clubs first piece of silverwear of the year. The celebrations must be put on hold however as they have an important fixture this Sunday afternoon. The lads will travel to Sean Mc Dermotts for a league semi final battle, that one throws in at 2 o clock in Seans. Make the trip to Seans on Sunday to get behind the team as they look to book their place in this years league decider.

U21s:

Last Friday evening our U21 panel were in County Semi Final action when they took on Scotstown at home. The lads put in a top performance from start to finish to book their place in this years U21 County Final. The Final takes place this Friday evening when the lads make the short trip to Killanny to take on Magheracloone in this years decider. Throw in is at 7.45 in Killanny this Friday evening. Come out this Friday night to support the team as they look to bring home the silverwear. Best of luck to all the team and management.

Minors:

Our Minors season continued last week as the lads were in league action when they took on St. Pats at home. This was a tough encounter against a strong St. Pats team and thankfully the lads came away with a good win which more or less books their place in this years Division One League Decider. This Tuesday evening the lads faced Sean Mc Dermotts away from home in the Championship. See next weeks notes for the result. Next Tuesday evening they take on Sean Mc Dermotts away from home in their final Minor League Game.  Throw in is at 7.30 in Seans on Tuesday evening. Make the trip to Seans next Tuesday and get behind our Minors who will look to finish off their league campaign in style.

U14s:

Last weekend our U14s returned to league action when they faced Magheracloone at home on Saturday morning. This was a very tough, tight encounter played in wet conditions in Donaghmoyne. The lads took a good lead intow the half time break after playing with the wind and thankfully it was a lead they didn’t let go of as they went on to record a win.

U12s:

Our U12 B team are in action this Saturday morning when they travel to Monaghan Harps to take on their hosts. Throw in is at 12 o clock in Gavin Duffy Park on Saturday. Come down on Saturday and get behind our future stars as they look to continue their good run of form.
