Our club is looking to build into the future and invite everyone in our community to be part of it. Do you have an opinion on how we move forward? We will be holding an open night where you can come along and give your opinions on the club and how we can put in place a strategic plan for the future. We are inviting everyone in the community to come and have their voice heard. More details will be released over the coming week in our social media channels.

 

Co. Monaghan Credit Unions SFL

The seniors had an excellent 0-17 to 1-10 victory over Ballybay in windy conditions on Sunday. They face to Castleblayney tomorrow evening June 3rd at home with throw in at 8pm.

 

Eurotech JFL

The Junior team lost to Sean McDermott’s on Sunday 1-8 to 0-7. Next game is on Wednesday 17th June at home to Aghabog at 8pm.

 

Platinum Tanks Reserve League Division 1A

The Reserve team play Aughnamullen on Sunday in the semi final of the O’Duffy Cup. Throw in is at 3pm in Pairc Mhuire.

 

MFL Division 1

There is a break in fixtures now for the minors until after the Leaving Certificate exams.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 1

Fixtures resume on July 2nd.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Division 1

The Division 1 are away to Inniskeen on Saturday with throw in at 1.15pm.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Division 5

The Division 5 development team had a busy week. They lost to a strong Rockcorry side on Tuesday and put in an excellent performance in the Championship but were beat by Latton 2-19 to 1-9. They play Inniskeen Saturday at 12pm.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Leagues

The A team defeated Patrick Sarsfields 7-7 to 3-11. They play Inniskeen Thursday 4th at 7.30pm at home. The B team lost to Donaghmoyne 5-3 to 4-9. They play Monaghan Harps away on Saturday at 1.15pm.

 

Senior Ladies

Next game is against Latton on June 25th.

 

Senior Ladies NCSG – Reserve League

Next game is on June 21st at home to O’Neill’s.

 

Minor Girls

Next game is away to Aughnamullen on Sunday 28th June at 12pm.

 

U16 Girls

Next game is fixed for Monday 22nd June at home to Inniskeen at 6.45.

 

U14 Girls

The U14 game against Donaghmoyne on Monday was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

Our Social Club is open for all events. Whether it is a Christening, Party, Communion, Confirmation or any other event we are happy to cater for your needs. We offer packages supplying food and entertainment tailored to your requirements. Good luck to all players in their upcoming Junior and Leaving Certificate exams.

 

Votes of Sympathy

Votes of sympathy were passed at the May club meeting with the families and friends of the recently deceased including Stephen Sewell, Castleblayney; Bridget Corr, Derryarrit; John McCaffrey, England (formerly Agherakelton); Vincent McPhillips, Corcaghan.

 

Well Done

Well done to 3 club men, Dermot Maguire, Conor Foley and Alan Gunn who completed the Derry Marathon at the weekend.

 

Congratulations

Congratulations to Damien(Blondie) and Edel McKenna on the birth of their twins, Emily and Aaron. They are sure to be future blues!!!
