Over the past week, county stars Rory Beggan and Ryan McAnespie have been busy promoting the Kellogg’s Cul Camps in our local Primary Schools. Rory and Ryan will both be working at this year Kellogg’s Cul Camps, so there will be loads of opportunities to met them and get their autographs. The camps start on Monday the 29th of June with four camps in Clontibret, Clones, Toome and Carrickmacross. It is important that to guarantee your child receiving their kit on the week of the camp that they pre-register for the camp. You can do this by filling out the application form online or sending the application form into the Monaghan Coaching Offices (download here) in Cloghan. If using the second method and you are sending a cheque it’s important to make the cheque payable to ‘Monaghan County Board’.
In total there is 18 camps taking place across the county over 5 weeks during the summer. The camps will include a wide range of football, hurling, camogie and handball (selected camps), providing children with learning experiences in an environment of fun and enjoyment. All range of football and hurling/camogie skills will be taught. Children will take part in mini leagues, fun games and a variety of skill-based activities. Over the last number of summers the camps have proven to be extremely popular with kids and parents.
The cost for attending the Kellogg’s Cul Camps are as follows:
€55 for 1st. child; €45 for 2nd child; €40 for 3rd and subsequent children
For children attending a second camp, without gear, the cost is €30
