We are delighted to announce that county senior football stars Rory Beggan and Ryan McAnespie will both be coaching at the Kellogg’s Cul Camp’s in Monaghan this summer. Both players took part in the Kellogg’s Cul Camps when they were younger and have now progressed to playing intercounty Gaelic Football. Both players will be promoting the camps around our local Primary Schools for the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for them to see if they are coming to your local Primary School.

The camp’s kick off on Monday the 29th of June with four camps taking place in Clontibret, Clones, Carrickmacross and Toome GAA Clubs. There will be a total of 18 camps taking place in total across the county over 5 weeks, so their is plenty of opportunities for children to take part in the camps. The camps will include a wide range of football, hurling, camogie and handball (selected camps), providing children with learning experiences in an environment of fun and enjoyment. All range of football and hurling/camogie skills will be taught. Children will take part in mini leagues, fun games and a variety of skill-based activities. Over the last number of summers the camps have proven to be extremely popular with kids and parents.

The theme of the camps is enjoyment and skill development and players of all ability levels are encouraged to develop and improve. Monaghan Footballers including Rory and Ryan will visit the camps throughout the summer and this will give participants the opportunity to meet some of the stars of the Monaghan Senior team. The place for young players to be this summer are the Monaghan GAA Cúl Camps where many of the future stars of Monaghan Football and Hurling will develop and hone their skills. All the details along with a full list of venues and dates can be found on the GAA website at kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie or on the Monaghan GAA website at monaghangaa.ie.
