Fearghal, Dónal, Michael Galligan, Nicholas Treanor, Peter Coyle and Dean Fanning all got on the scoresheet in the second half, while Shane Smyth hit the only goal of the game, as our lads took over to eventually run out convincing winners on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-7.

Dean doubled his tally in the second half, but Magheracloone struck for the only goal, which proved decisive on a 1-11 to 0-11 scoreline, in spite of late points for us by Aodhán Óg McAnespie and Gareth.

An early goal by Ryan Leonard, followed by a Dylan Ballantine point, got our lads off to a bright start and although Cremartin came back, Dean Doherty kicked four points to make the half-time score 1-5 to 1-1 in the Harps’ favour. Scores continued to be hard-earned after the restart, but a point by Dylan and a brace from Terence McDonald kept our lads ahead, before Dylan got on the end of a flowing move to make the final score 2-8 to 1-6 and earn our lads a place in the final against Tyholland, which is now to take place on Tuesday evening.

Further points by Adam, Terence and Dylan, three goals by Nathan Lavery and a goal each by Adam and Dean brought our lads’ first-half tally to 7-8. They carried that into the second half, with Terence, Dean and Shea Treanor on target, while Jamie McCarron and Tiarnán O’Rourke also added their names to the scoresheet. Our Division Five team followed that up with a good win over Scotstown. Ross Finnegan, Luke McManus and Liam were all on target before half-time to give us a 2-8 to 1-3 lead, before Josh, Jake McConnon and Seán Callan added scores in the final 20 minutes. A large contingent of substitutes all made an impact, including Conor and Che Treanor, James Curley and Karol Parszywka.
