Fixtures: The senior take on near neighbours Latton this Sunday in Ballybay at 12.30pm and travel to Monaghan Harps on Wednesday the 1st of July at 8pm. On Thursday the 2nd of July the St Pats U16 team are at home in Ballybay to Monaghan Harps at 7.30pm. This evening the U14’s travel to Eire Og for the Division 3 Championship at 7.30pm, all support greatly welcomed.

Get well soon: All club members would like to wish Drew Wylie a speedy recovery to full health flowing his serious injury in the recent league match for the senior team. We wish him all the best and can’t wait to see a fitter/stronger Drew back in the Maroon & White.

The club would like to thank all those people who kindly volunteered their space time to help with some essential maintenance work that had to be carried out to the club rooms in recent weeks. The club is extremely grateful to all those you helped in any way & shows that the spirit within the club is stronger than ever. Thank you again.

Congrats: Congratulations to the St Bridget’s LGFC U14 players & team mentors who recently won the community games. Keep up the good work.

Summer Camps: The Lenovo GAA skills hub will be running in Cloghan from the 30th June providing girls & boys with who are no longer eligible for the Cul Camps, but are aged between 13-16, with the opportunity to derive maximum enjoyment from their involvement in Gealic Games. The hubs are unique in that they are led by inter county players. Cost per child is €50 which includes a free training top.

The Cul Camps are also been run this year and are available to any girl or boy from the age of 5 -12 with each child receiving a half zip/jersey & bag at the end of the week. Cost of the camp varies depending if the child is attending for the second time and if the request the gear, but prices are fixed at standard rates across all counties. County stars Rory Beggan & Ryan McAnespie confirmed as camp coaches for this year.

Application forms will be distributed through the club & county officers have been to the schools to promote the camps but if you would like any additional info on these just contact Niall.

Website: The club are currently working on developing a website to celebrate its colourful past & bright future while using it as an additional means of communication for Pearse Brothers both living in the area and those spread out over all corners of the world. Bingo: Bingo will continue every Tuesday night at the later time of 9pm for the summer months in the club rooms. If there’s any member of the public, particularly elderly ladies & gentlemen, who would like to attend the night but struggle for transportation there is a free bus run within the local area to bring people to & from the club rooms. If you like to avail of this service please contact any committee member.
