Attacking Play Coaching Workshop – On Thursday 28th May @ 7:30pm in Tyholland GAA Club to be delivered by Roger Keenan. Targeting U16 to Adult team coaches. Free of charge. This will be a practical workshop that will be delivered to a local club team.
How to Break Down/Play with Blanket Defences Coaching Workshop – On Monday 8th June @ 7:30pm in Cloghan to be delivered by Tony Scullion. Targeting U16 to Adult team coaches. Free of charge. This will be a theory workshop that will be delivered indoors. Video analysis & task work will all be included in the workshop. Group discussions will also be included on the purpose of blanket defences, positives & negatives of such systems. Additionally what age groups (if at all) should blanket defences systems be introduced.
U16 Football 7 a side blitz – On Thursday 4th June & 11th June @ 7:30pm in Cloghan. What we are proposing is that these blitzes cater for players who are NOT doing the Junior Cert. The blitzes would be non-competitive. The reasoning behind the blitzes is to give players an opportunity to continue to get games while the exam break is going on while it won’t effect your exam players.
