Ulster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final
Cavan 0-15 Monaghan 0-16 24/5/15
Monaghan are through to the Ulster SFC semi-finals after an absorbing one-point win over Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday. Monaghan were four points down with 20 minutes to go, but with Dick Clerkin, Stephen Gollogly and Colin Walshe (in his first county game of 2015) making an impact off the bench, they came back to grab a hard-earned victory. Conor McManus top-scored with seven points for Monaghan and he led the line well throughout, with Darren Hughes, Dessie Mone, Karl O’Connell and Ryan Wylie also in the thick of things as Monaghan finished strongly to advance to a semi-final against either Fermanagh or Antrim.
