Cavan and Monaghan Ladies met twice over the weekend also. First up were the U21s on Saturday. Corduff was represented by Barbara Ward who put in a great personal effort. After the second period of normal time the sides were level on a scoreline of 2-09 to 1-12. and the game went to extra time. Monaghan failed to score in the first period of extra time while Cavan added to their tally which was by then 3-10 to 1-12. Cavan and Monaghan U14s also met on Sunday evening in the U14 Ulster final. Monaghan were slow to settle and get a score in this game but by the interval were right back into the game. Corduff’s Elena McEnaney added a goal to the tally. But once again Cavan proved stronger and were comfortable winners.
