Coaches for the Farney Easter Camps completed a coaches in-service in Cloghan today in preparation for the Camps, which take place next Tuesday the 7th of April to Thursday the 9th of April.

The in-service covered a number of different topics such as the role and responsibilities of the coach during the camp, the rules of the camp, how to deal with issues surrounding bullying and they were shown fun games and activities which they will coach next week.

If you would like to register your son/ daughter on the camp, you can still do so by filling out the application form and taking it with you on the first morning of the camp, along with the fee for attending the camp. There is still plenty of places left on each of the five camps. You can download the application form by clicking on the link below.

The camps take place in 5 venues throughout the county (Scotstown, Magheracloone, Clones, Ballybay and for the first time Monaghan town). The camp is open to boys and girls from 5 – 12. Every child who takes part in the camp will receive a hoodie. Any child you was registered on the camp before Wednesday the 1st of April will receive their hoodie during the camp, it is hoped any child who would like to register on the morning of the camp will also receive their hoodie during the camp, however we cannot guarantee this will happen.

If you have any queries about the camp, you can contact Paul O’Connor on 086 837 4827 or developmentmanager.monaghan@gaa.ie.
