U14s:

Last  weekend was a big weekend for our U14 panel as our A team competed in the Division 2 Championship Final. The opposition were Truagh on Saturday in a blustry Blackhill. After a quiet first half Donaghmoyne threw off the shackles in the second half as they stormed home with a comprehensive win as they were crowned the Division 2 Champions and will now go on to represent Monaghan in the Feile competition this Summer. Congratulations to all the players and management on this great win.

Ladies

Breakfast Morning in Aid of U14 Feile Team:

On Sunday last, the U14 Girls, Feile Team, hosted a breakfast morning in Lisdoonan Community Centre in Aid of their trip to the Feile Competition this Summer. The morning was a great success with lots of people turning out to show their support. There are a few people the club need to thank, first of all to all those who sponsored food and made sure there was no shortage of anything, secondly to the Lisdoonan Community Centre for the use of their great facilities on the morning, to all the players, their parents, and even grandparents, for all the hard work they put in throughout the morning and finally once again to all those who turned out to support on the morning. All of which are greatly appreciated.

Seniors:

Well done to those on the Senior Team on won the Clann Eireann 7s Tournament recently. The A and B Senior teams both recorded wins in the last week against Magheracloone and Inniskeen respectively. Our Reserves also recorded a win over Sean Mc Dermotts last Sunday by the narrowest of margins.

U14s:

The U14 teams were both in action in the last week with both coming home with opposite fortunes. Following on from the Feile victory over Emyvale the sides met once again and Emyvale turned the tables as they gained revenge for the defeat in the Feile final as they came home with the win. In the other game Donaghmoyne fought back to get the win against a good Doohamlet side in what proved to be an entertaining game of football.

U16s:

Our U16 girls team took on Aughnamullen recently and thankfully came home with the win, well done to all.

Mini Fontenoys:

A big thank you to all the ladies players who have volunteered their time to help out with the Mini Fontenoys every Saturday morning. A rota has put into place so keep an eye on the rota to know when your day is.
