Tyholland

We travelled to Tyholland on Wednesday week last in the league which resulted in a one point win for the home side on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-12 Tyholland 1-10.  Tyholland got off the mark first in the second minute with a point from play but we responded with a point from Ronan Burke in the fourth minute.  After this we lost Declan Farrell to injury and Tyholland then went on to score three in a row without reply.  However points from Patrick McNally, Michael Morgan and Barry Carragher kept us in contention before a point by Liam Atkinson gave us the lead going in the break.  We came out strong scoring four points from play and one from a free without reply leaving us leading by six going into the final quarter.  However Tyholland scored two frees and a point from play before being awarded a penalty in the 20th minute which they converted leaving the sides level.  The sides exchanges scores before Tyholland having the momentum went on to win the game by a single point.  Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Declan Farrell, Conor Mulligan, Fergal Mulligan, Shaun Buckley (0-1)Liam Atkinson (0-2)Ronan Burke (0-1), Mark Magee, Shane Burke, Shane Mulligan Kevin Atkinson (0-1), John Leonard (0-1), Patrick McNally (0-4), Michael Morgan(0-1)and Barry Carragher (0-1).
