Carrickmacross Hurling Notes

U8 & U10  travel to Clonitbret last Sunday morning for County blitz which was supported well, kids got plenty of hurling and weather stay dry, thanks to parents and friends that travel to support these young players [boys and girls] training will be Sunday morning 11-30 to 12-30 on back field in Emmet park, text will go out, if any kids wants to join in the fun and skill of hurling can text Gene 0863655877,helmets and hurleys supplied, 
U12  had a good win on there first outing last Monday away to Truagh on a very wet and cold evening, with a score of 4-02 to 1-00, half of this team had there first competition game as they move up from last year U10, and they fit in lovelywell done to all, next game is Monday 11th May at home to Monaghan harps at 6-30, come out and give these young hurlers a shout,
U14 next outing is Monday 4th May away to Inniskeen at 7-30, need all players at training
U16  had there first game last Monday away to Truagh on a very bad evening but came home with a win of 8-05 to 0-00, all players got a run out, well done lads, score Aran Mc Gee 2-00, Ciaran Guigan 2-00, Conor Cassin, Jack Marron 0-04, Oran Kieran 1-00, Dara Cassidy 1-00, Karl Mc Menamin, well done to players and managers, these lads are at home to Monaghan harps on Monday 11th May at 7-45, 
MINORS  had a good win last Sunday morning by a point away to Monaghan harps 1-14 to 2-10, score were Luke Mc Kenna 0-10, Cillian Mc Nally 1-00, Caolan Martin 0-02, Ronan Curran 0-01 and Sean Logie 0-01, well done to all, the club would like to wish Ronan Curran a speedy recovery after last Sunday game, next game is Friday 1st with away game to Castleblayney at 7-30 then at home with Truagh on Sunday 3th May at 12-00, good luck in both games,
SENIORS had no game last week as Mullahoran could not field a team, next game is this evening Thursday 30th in Monaghan at 7-30 in the Development league, good luck to all players and managers in all age groups, and remember keep hurling

COUNTY SENIORS are in Clones this Saturday 2st may with Longford in the Nicky Rackard cup at 5-00, good luck to every one involved with the team
