The senior team came away with a hard fought 2 points in Truagh on Sunday afternoon. Scotstown started brightly and were 0-10 to 0-5 up entering injury time in the first half when Truagh were awarded a penalty which was converted to make it 0-10 to 1-5 at half time. Kieran Hughes was dismissed early in the 2nd half but the Scotstown men rallied together to secure a 0-12 to 1-8 victory against a strong wind in the 2nd half. The junior team were unlucky not to get a result in Rockcorry on Saturday afternoon. In what was a high tempo game played in perfect conditions we narrowly lost 1-10 to 0-10. The Reserve O’Duffy Cup team play Cremartin this Sunday 29th March at home at 2pm.

The minors play Carrickmacross on Tuesday March 31st away at 6.30pm.
U16 Boys
The U16’s first game of the year is on Thursday 9th April at home to St.Pats at 6.30pm.
U14 Boys
The U14 Division 1 team play Carrickmacross on Saturday 28th at 3:15pm. The development Division 5 team also play Carrickmacross at 2pm. Both games are at home. On Wednesday April 1st the Development team play Doohamlet at home at 6.30pm . The Division 1 side play Monaghan Harps in the Quarter Final of the Championship on Thursday April 2nd at 6:15pm in Scotstown.
U12 Boys
Our U12 boys made the trip to Donaghmoyne on Saturday for 2 games in the Spring League with over 30 boys getting playing time. They play Emyvale at home on April 4th at 2pm and 3:15pm.
Academy
Our U8’s are now training at 10am on Saturday mornings on the main field. Please note the change of time. U6’s are also at 10am in the complex. Please check with U10 management for times for U10 training
Allianz NFL
Good luck to Monaghan and all the Scotstown players on the panel as Monaghan travel to Kerry in search of a victory to secure Division 1 status for next year.
Ulster U21 Championship
Well done Donnacha Dolan, Sean Mohan, Michael McCarville, Conor McCarthy and Conor Forde who were on the Monaghan U21 panel that defeated Derry on Wednesday last. They now face Donegal on Wednesday April 1st in the Ulster Semi Final.
Senior Ladies
The Senior Ladies got their Division 2 campaign of to a perfect start after a 3-11 to 0-7 victory over Carrickmacross on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Ladies NCSG – Reserve Game
The Reserve ladies play Killanny this Saturday at home in Round 3 of the reserve league. Time has not been confirmed yet. Please see twitter and facebook for updates.
U16 Girls
Training is on Friday at 6.30pm in Kilmore. All players to attend.
U14 Girls
The game against Donaghmoyne was cancelled on Monday and now is due to be played in 2 weeks.
U12 Girls
Training continues on Thursdays at 6pm in Kilmore.
Help Needed
With numbers over 60 registered for our U8’s this year it is vital we get help from more ladies in the club. Any female coaches willing to help out on Saturday mornings with our U8 Boys and Girls, please contact Andrew Murray – 087-7778620.
Adult Club Membership
Adult Club Membership can be paid to our club Registrar Frankie McCarey. Non Playing Member €30, Adult Playing Member (Over 18) €30, Minor – €20. This must be paid before the end of March. You can pay this Friday between 9-11:30pm in the Social Club.

The March Ciste draw is on this Friday, March 27th in the Social Club. Please note the change of day from Saturday to Friday. We have recently added a new feature to the website. Scór Sinsir
Comhgairdeas do Mollie Mc Keever who is the Scór Sinsear Ulster Champion solo singer. Mollie beat the Derry and Down singers on Saturday last in Co. Ard Mhacha having previously beaten the Cavan and Tyrone champions at the semi-final stage. Mollie will now go on to represent her club, county and province at Babhta Ceannais na hÉireann in Citywest Hotel Dublin on April 25th. Joining Mollie at The Scór Sinsear All Ireland Final will be the quiz team – also from An Bhoth – Niall Ó Lamha, Peadar Ó Lamha, Séamus Ó Gionnáin and Seán Ó Corra. Tickets for this can be ordered from Pauline Rooney.
