Handball Report: Last month we saw the 40X20 season come to its closing stages for many players, but luckily for Emyvale we still have competitors competing at this late stage in the season.

Commiserations to Pete Larkin who lost out in a tiebreaker to a very good player in the all Ireland semi final in the masters grade. Pete has showed this year that he really is back to his best and we have no doubt we will see Pete competing in other finals in different grades off handball in the coming months.

Darren doherty is into the all ireland u21 final. Darren won his semi final in the 3rd game and was pushed all the way by the young lad from Wexford. The date and time of the final is TBC but please keep an eye out for this through facebook or twitter.

Also last Friday night Darren won his 2nd senior county title. Darren beat Michael duffy of bawn in two games. Huge credit has to go to darren for winning back to back titles and is a fitting reward for the time and effort that he puts in to handball. Commiserations to Michael duffy who put on a good display and will hopefully be back next year.

Barry Mc Guirk is Due to play Fergal O Neill of Truagh in the next two weeks but the venue and time is TBC.
