Congratulations: To Erin O’Neill on being chosen as the 2014 Provincial Club Person of the Year.This is a massive achievement. The presentation of the Provincial award to each of the winners will take place at Croke Park this Tuesday, March 3rd with the winner of the National TESCO Club Person of the Year Award will also be announced at the presentation.
Pitch Availability: Micky Mc Carron will be in charge of pitch bookings for the coming year. All pitch bookings for matches and/or training sessions should be made through Micky. Team Managers and mentors in all codes and at all age groups should note that a pitch will not be available at any given time unless it has been booked and approved in advance.
Juveniles: Emyvale GAA Juvenile Club Nursery Programme will run every Saturday morning until Saturday 28th March from 10:30am to 11:30am in the Emyvale Leisure Centre for children attending Junior Infants to 1st class. Each session will cost one euro and parents will be encouraged to take part. This year we will be entering a U-10 team in the Community Games Gaelic Football competition. Under-10 teams in Community Games are for children who are aged 10 or younger on the 1st August 2015. For anyone interested in training as a coach, there are foundation level coaching courses running on three separate dates in March. The Mc Elroy/Connelly Memorial Tournament will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 6th April 2015. This will be a U-16 tournament run on a Blitz basis. Keep the date free as help will be required on the day.
U-12 training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 – 8pm. Under 12 Football starts on Saturday 21st March, with a throw in time of 2pm. Under 12 Spring League Finals are scheduled for Saturday May 2nd.
U-14 training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 – 8pm. Under 14 Football starts on Saturday 14th March, with a throw in time of 2pm. Under 14 Div 1 & Div 2 Football Championship (Feile) – Quarter Finals start on Thursday 2nd April with a throw in time of 6:15pm.
Under 16 Football starts on Thursday 9th April for all divisions. U-16 training every Monday in Tully from 8 – 9:15pm.
