Ladies:
Ladies: Our amalgamated senior team Emmets Og took on Monaghan Harps in the first round of the Reserve League last sat 28th. It was our first time out together and the girls are still getting to know each other. The girls played well as a team but unfortunately we beaten by a better team to a final score of 1-4 to 5-6 (not checked with the ref and may not be exact). Team Darine Morgan, Rebecca Hughes,Amy Mc Mahon, Lauren Monaghan, Nicole Rooney, Lisa Mc Connon(0-2), Micheal Newell, , Orla Reilly(1-1), Orla Deery, Katie Mc Collom, Ellen Leonard(0-1)subs Ciara Murphy, Caoimhe Hurson.
Training continues for u16, minor and senior and confirmation text will be sent out.
Zumba is on this Friday 6th for all players in smithboro hall from 6-7pm cost €3 each..
Congratulations to Chloe Mc Bride on winning double ulster schools with Colaiste Oiriall u19 and u16 and wish her the best of luck with her u19 team on Saturday in the All Ireland Semi final..

Operation Transformation:
Many thanks to all those people who turned up for our Final Walk which took place on Saturday last. Indeed many thanks to all the walkers who have taken to the paths of Smithboro over the last 4 and a half months, we hope that you all continue walking as the Spring and Summer months unfold! A total of €1000 was raised by the club, this money will be used to help upkeep our community hall, so thank you to everyone who contributed to that. See you all again in the Winter and remember to wear your high vis and take care on the roads!
