Corduff Notes

Juveniles
U6, U8 & U10 training began on Saturday March 7th. Turnout for all age groups was fantastic. We hope to see you all again next Saturday at 10.00.

On Thursday March 12th, Corduff’s U13 boys will compete in a 7 a-side Super Touch Blitz in Cloghan. Throw-in for the first game is at 7.00pm.

The U14s begin their Division 4 League campaign on Saturday March 14thwith an away fixture against Tyholland.
Reserve League:
After the long awaited return to competitive football Corduff opened the 2015 season with Round 1 of the D2B Reserve football League. Inniskeen were the visitors on the day to a warm, sunny and sometimes  blustery  Corduff. From the throw-in Corduff dominated and pulled ahead comfortably and remained in the driving seat throughout picking up their first win of the season. 
Fixtures:
Reserve League Round 2  on 17/3/2015 Truagh V Corduff with a 12 midday throw-in.
Intermediate Senior League action commences on 22/3/2015 when Corduff make the journey to Shamrock Park Cremartin. 

Ladies:
The Senior Reserve team are in action this Saturday away to Donaghmoyne in round 2 of the League. Time to be confirmed . We wish Declan, Pete and the team good luck in this local derby. As always your support would be welcome.
Senior County Action:
On Sunday Monaghan Ladies welcome Mayo to Blackhill for Round 5 of The Tesco Homegrown Division 1 League. After a good win against Laois Monaghan will be hoping to add a home victory on Sunday. We wish club members Laura and Barbara and the Monaghan  team and management good luck. Once again your support would be welcome.
Monaghan Ladies Strictly Come Dancing:
If you haven’t already heard Monaghan Ladies County Board are hosting Strictly Come Dancing on the May Bank Holiday Sunday. While that may seem a long way off the dancers are already in action with a dancer representing each club in the county. Corduff Ladies are delighted to be represented by Naomi Cogan and the club is supporting her all the way!
