Reserve:
The senior reserve team had their first game at home to Inniskeen on Saturday evening under lights. Despite the wind and rain the match was not cancelled and both teams battled on through the stormy weather. There was very little between the sides but Inniskeen edged ahead in the second half, beating the Corduff team with a two point margin. Final score, Corduff 2-6 Enniskeen 2-8.
Senior County News:
Monaghan Senior Ladies followed up their win over Cork with another win over Laois at the weekend and they now sit top of the table ahead of this weekend’s break. Both our club members Laura McEnaney and Barbara Ward were instrumental in that victory. Next Monaghan match is at home to Mayo on 15th March, time and venue to be confirmed.
Minor County News:
Corduff Ladies are also represented on the County Minor team by Alana Kernan and Eva Woods. They have their first competitive outing of the season this Sunday against Armagh so we wish them good luck with that.
