Juvenile Training
U6 and U8 training continues this Wednesday in Our Lady’s Secondary School gym from 6.30 to 7.30pm.
U10 training is also on Wednesday nights from 7.30 to 8.30pm in Rath na nÓg
U12 training on Monday night in Rath na nÓg from 6 to 7pm.
The cost for all of these sessions is 2 euro and hurls and helmets are provided. New members always welcome
Coaching Courses
Monaghan GAA will host a First Aid course dealing with sports injuries in Cloghan this Wednesday 11th March. The course will run from 6.30 to 10pm and costs 35 euro.
A hurling Foundation Level coaching course will take place in Cloghan on March 13th and 14th. Anyone interested in doing this course should contact Jarlath Denny.
Senior Team
Training will resume for the senior team in the near future. The club would like to wish manager Paul Casey, selectors Paul Hughes and Ger O’Brien and the players all the best for 2015. Hopefully we can repeat the success of 2014 and maybe go one better early next year!
Monaghan Senior Hurling Team
Congratulations to the Monaghan senior team who defeated Louth in Division 3A of the Allianz Hurling League on Sunday. The team remain unbeaten after the first three rounds of the league having previously drawn with Tyrone and beaten Roscommon. 12 Blayney players were involved on Sunday, with nine of those players starting. Well done to all of the players and to Kevin and the management team
60th Anniversary Dinner Dance and Awards Presentation
The club’s awards presentation for 2015 will be held in the Glencarn Hotel on Friday the 20th March at 8pm. After a very successful year in 2014, this promises to be a great night of celebration. Tickets can be got from Catríona, Hugh or any committee member and cost 25 euro each
