Aughnamullen Notes

Lotto Results: Lotto Results for Sunday last. Numbers drawn were 02, 06, 13, 24, There was no winner. Jackpot now stands at €5,000. Lucky dip winners: Micheal Geoghegan, Maureen Campbell Frank Mc Ardle, Brian Kelly, Mazie Mooney, Philip Connolly, Ben Hannaway, Roseleen & Amy Markey, Mooney Greagh & Lynn Reilly. Next weeks lotto team is: PJ & Eithne Forde, Joe & Philomena Duffy. 


Seniors: Training will continue every Tuesday & Friday Nights at 8pm. Everybody to be present. 


Congrats: Congratulations to Colin Fox who played and was part of winning their All Ireland College Final with Maynooth Fresher’s Football Team.

Minors: Training will continue every Thursday evening at 7.30pm. Everyone is expected to attend. 


Club Membership: Membership is now over due. Can all football players who have not yet registered for 2015 please do so as you are not insured if not registered. A small fee of Adults €20 and Students €10 covers you for the year. Payment can be made to Bernie Mc Brien asap.

Annual Dinner Dance: Our Annual dinner dance will take place on Saturday the 14th of March. Tickets are now available and selling fast from either Bernie Mc Brien (0834191986) Angela Geoghegan Duffy (0861012243) Alice Hannaway (0877627048) Or Mary Bee Hamill (0868463332). €15 for a 3 course meal. Music on the night from Beetroot. Agreat night is promised. 

AUGHNAMULLEN  JUVENILE  

Juvenile Registration:

Keep free the 22nd of March from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm for all juveniles’ registration for all age groups. Registration fee of €5 per child. It is important for at least one parent to be present to sign the necessary forms.  On the evening John Paul Moen will be present to talk regarding the SISU mouth guards and also give a demonstration on how to fit and wear these mouth guards, not only are the unique and easy to wear but a child can also speak, breathe and drink through these mouth guards.

Also on the evening there will be a small number of Aughnamullen hats with crest @ €8 and Aughnamullen shorts with crest @ €12 for sale, as we only have a small number of stock remaining it will be on a first come first served basis.

Sarsfield Stars:

Due to the weather conditions and fields been closed, training for UN 8’s and 10’s will not commence until the 14th March.

Coaches:

Well done to all the coaches that completed the level one coaching course over the whole weekend last.  Thanks for giving up your time this leaves the Aughnamullen club with 10 coaches that have now achieved a higher level of coaching for our juvenile teams.


Juvenile Success:

A Booklet was prepared on the juvenile success for 2014 and is available for sale in the social centre for €2 or you can contact Mary B. Hamill (086) 8463332 or Frank Marron on(087) 9226522.

Race Night: A Big thank you to everybody who helped out in any way with our race night. Thanks to those who sponsored races. To those who suported our event on the night and who helped it be a success. To Bernie Mc Brien & Seamus Conlon who put all the hard work into organising the night. Thank you.

GYM NEWS:  As part of our restructuring of the Gym we are offering free introduction classes to Pilates Kettle Bells and Ashtanga Yoga on Wed evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and 7.30pm to 8.30pm and on Friday evening from 7pm to 8pm and 8pm to 9pm. A new class is also planned for Sat. morning of next week. Watch out for further details. 


Making  Money  For  Your  Club:

​Topaz Cash for Clubs. Topaz are running a cash for clubs where u can collect a stamp when you spend €40 or more on Fuel. all you have to do is collect a card at any Topaz station and get it stamped fill in your Club name and reg code  which is 10110. when your card is filled you can drop them into either myself Angela Pro or into the centre there will be a box there behind the bar. Rem you can get your stamp at any Topaz north and south. Each club will receive €250 cash for every 300 cards filled. Suport your club. 


Sympathy: 

Sympathy is extended to the Forde Family Laggan on the death of the late Packie Forde Sister Molly ó Shea London. May god have mercy on her soul.
